“Clint is an accomplished executive and keen legal mind with expertise and experience navigating federal policy and the government affairs,” Morial said.

INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA (February 6, 2019) -- The 2019 National Urban League Conference, returning to Indianapolis after 25 years, will attract thousands of the nation’s most forward-thinking community and business leaders for four days of speakers, workshops, exhibitions and networking events, all centered on the theme “Getting 2 Equal: United Not Divided,” leaders announced today.

As has been the National Urban League’s tradition during presidential election cycles, all major-party declared candidates will be invited to address the Conference.

WASHINGTON (JANUARY 30, 2019) -- The Leadership Conference Education Fund with Ethnic Media Service, hosted a telephone press briefing today featuring National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO) Educational Fund, Asian Americans Advancing Justice | AAJC, and the National Urban League to discuss the importance of the 2020 census to communities of color and efforts to remove the citizenship question from the 2020 census.

NEW YORK (January 8, 2019) -- National Urban League President and CEO Marc H. Morial and Phyllis Y. Nichols, President and CEO of the Knoxville Area Urban League, today commended Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam’s commutation of Cyntoia Brown’s life sentence, saying her case highlights systemic problems in the nation’s criminal justice system.
