The members of the National Council of Urban League Guilds, founded in 1942, are considered the heart and soul of the movement. Guilders contribute thousands of volunteer hours annually, play a pivotal role connecting the League to its communities, and raise funds that allow the League to deliver programs that help pave the path to power for its people.
