The National Urban League Young Professionals (NULYP) is a National Urban League volunteer auxiliary that targets young professionals ages 21-40 to empower their communities and change lives through the Urban League Movement.
NULYP’s mission is to support the Urban Leage Movement through our volunteerism, philantrophy and membership development.
NULYP and its chapters provide leadership development, networking opportunities and community outreach activities to more than 4000 young professionals nationwide. Most importantly, NULYP members work to develop, implement and lead the next generation’s civil rights agenda within the National Urban League, the civil rights movement and society-at-large.
NULYP is governed by a volunteer board of elected and Presidential appointed officers. The NULYP Executive Board provides leadership, programs and services to the local NULYP chapters. Some of these programs and services include:
Annual Young Professional Summit (part of the National Urban League’s Annual Conference)
- Annual National Day of Service
- YP Leadership Weekends
- Annual Service Report
