Nicolaine M. Lazarre provides legal counsel and strategic guidance on the risk management, compliance, transactional, litigation and intellectual property activities of the National Urban League. As Senior Vice President, Special Projects, she plans and executes the implementation of special initiatives for the President’s office. Ms. Lazarre has advised and represented companies on transactions, corporate structure and corporate governance since 1999. Prior to joining the National Urban League, she served as an associate in the structured finance groups of top tier international law firm Sidley Austin LLP and Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP. Ms. Lazarre received her Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Houston and her Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center (1999).
