Offers Prayers and Condolences To Prudhomme’s Wife Lori
NEW YORK (October 8, 2015) – National Urban League President and CEO and former New Orleans Mayor Marc H. Morial today issued the following statement in response to the death of superstar chef Paul Prudhomme:
“Chef Paul’s culinary creativity helped drive the international awareness of New Orleans’ Creole and Cajun cuisine. He was beloved and admired – not only in New Orleans, but the world over. I personally just loved his cooking. It was artistry that stands above even the greats. In his death, he remains one of New Orleans’ and America’s true cultural treasures. We send our prayers to his Lori.”
