Meeting of Governor, Civil Rights Leaders and Clergy “Encouraging”

ALBANY (March 12, 2018) -- The National Urban League today joined other civil rights leaders and clergy in calling for equitable education funding and transparency in New York’s state budget.

NEW YORK  (March 2, 2018) -- A federal court has ordered an organization in Dallas, improperly operating under the Urban League name, to stop using the Urban League’s registered trademarks.

“The Urban League of Greater Dallas was disaffiliated in 2015,” National Urban League President and CEO Marc H. Morial said. “We have no affiliate in Dallas at this time. The group operating under the Urban League name is doing so deceitfully and illegally, and the federal court has just confirmed that.”
