NEW YORK (June 4, 2016) -- The National Urban League and the Urban League Movement join the family of Muhammad Ali and the rest of the nation in mourning the loss of the nation's most iconic athlete and civil rights activist, President and CEO Marc H. Morial said today.

FLINT, MICHIGAN (April 29, 2016) -- The Urban League Movement and Walgreens have partnered to support the youth of Flint, Michigan, amid the city's water crisis. 

 

More than 80 volunteers from the National Urban League's affiliate groups, the Young Professionals, and the Guild, along with a group of staff from the National Urban League's New York headquarters, arrived today in Flint to help distribute supplies donated by Walgreens and to mentor children and teens. 

FLINT, MICHIGAN (April 27, 2016) -- Urban League officers and Walgreens executives will join Flint city officials  for a major announcement at the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, 1939 Howard Avenue; Flint, at 2 p.m. Friday, April 29.
